The Shared Room

There are three bedrooms in the Log Cabin: Willie and Ken each have their own (more on Ken's later) and Rob and I get to share the largest of the three. Sounds great doesn't it? Two guys, big room, lots of space; fun for everyone. Think again. I have a number of complaints about the shared room. First of all, this is the only room in the house with hardwood floors. They are always causing splinters, and it only adds to the sub-arctic temperatures during the winter cause for some reason, we don't get heat in this room. Rob opts to sleep on the floor in the living room rather than watch his breath as he falls asleep leaving me to spend my nights in solitude in this freezing coffin. And I know it's a privelage to live in the Log Cabin but COME ON!! The cleanliness issue is getting ridiculous. I don't want to point fingers but one of the occupants of the shared room isn't keeping his side of the room tidy

Gears of War 2

Recently, gears of war 2, has came out. Gears of War 2 is a new video game for xbox 360 (a gaming console). kenny being unemployed right now, (for reasons beyond his own powers to control) has volunteered to represent the log cabin and become the best at this game....in the world. Understanding the weight of this responsibility he takes his gaming very seriously. He's on a tight schedule, rising in the late afternoon around 11:00 am and not putting his controller down till the early hours of the morning, usually around 3 am. When people ask him how he can keep up such a rigorous schedule, he usually replies with one word: committment. As his older brother, I have never been more proud of him. As he plays hour by hour, day by day he keeps rising in the ranks. Currently he is placed himself in the top 50 in the world out of over half a million players. Truly he has set himself in a legendary status. There have been some critics who we won't mention by name, but we at the log cabin will continue to support kenny in his endeavors to reach #1.
